Our high levels of customer service don’t just end when you purchase an electrical appliance from us!
We pride ourselves on ensuring that we provide those customers who need it, with great customer service, ensuring that when they purchase an electrical appliance from us, we can help them get it from our shop to their home.
Don’t get us wrong, we know you’ll probably not have any problems getting a toaster you’ve bought from us home ok, however you’ll probably need a hand getting the bulky items like fridges, freezers or cookers home and the good news is, we’re here to help.
Delivery Service
We offer customers a complete end-to-end delivery service, wherever they are located in the Badenoch & Strathspey area. When you purchase your electrical appliance from us, we’ll look to find a convenient time to deliver your chosen appliance.
We’ll take a few details like your address and convenient contact telephone number, as well as some information about the house that we’re delivering the appliance to, like where you would like it placed, delivered to the front or rear of the property, what the size of the openings available to us are and also if we need to get the appliance up any flights of stairs, this way when we arrive at your home there will be no nasty surprises for our delivery & install team
Installation
For some of the appliances that we sell, our customers may also choose the option to have these appliances professionally installed by one of our team of expert installation engineers. This may involve connecting your new washing machine up to your mains water supply or connecting your new cooker up to your electrical supply.
Again, when you purchase your new appliance from Thain Electrical, we will check to see if you need the services of one of our installation engineers and if you do, then we will capture all the relevant information from you to make sure your installation goes smoothly.
If you choose to have your appliance installed by one of our installation team members, we can also give you a quick tutorial on how the appliance works and answer any questions you may have. Once you’re satisfied with the installation, we will then take away all excess packaging and leave you to enjoy your new appliance.
Removal & Recycling
The final option which we are seeing more and more of our customers take up is that of our ‘Removal & Recycling’ service. Increasingly, it is becoming more and more expensive for home-owners to dispose of their old appliances, well, the good news is that we can do it all for you and when we deliver your new appliance we can also arrange for the removal and recycling of your old appliance at the same time.
What’s more, we’ll also take away the packaging that the new appliance came in! All the appliances that we are asked to remove are, where possible, responsibly recycled, which can only be a good thing for the environment.
